I tried this in a work call last week, the most disturbing thing wasn't seeing a ghost eye when putting a finger in front of my eyes. It was how it smoothly moved the eyeballs when it detected both eyes. Sent shivers down my back

@FreyaHolmer As a backend and multiplayer engineer, this happens to me a lot and often time someone popups and say hey can't we optimise like this, oh this baas is awesome why don't we use that... And usually these are all the things that I'd considered before making the decision

@AnderssonKev It depends on the scope, basic app with few screens - you'll build quickly in unity but if it's filled with UI components then check out npm(react)/dart packages(flutter) and see where you find most of the premade packages that can help you speed up and choose accordingly

mouse-look rotation can be a little tricky (thread) while none of these will work 🚫rotation *= horiz * vert 🚫rotation *= vert * horiz 🚫rotation *= quat.euler( mouseY, mouseX, 0 ) this will ✅rotation = horiz * rotation * vert

StringBuilder can be used for allocation free string appending in C# :) except fuck me bc only the string & char overloads are allocation free - all the other ones call ToString internally, even integers generate garbage (: *cries while writing this cursed nonalloc int append*

I think a lot of unity devs don't know about this... You can print multiple variables quite easily by putting a dollar sign before double quotes and then you can insert your variables inside curly braces. Debug.Log($"log description {variable1} : {variable2}"); #unity3d #Devs

@apb872 @thomasbrushdev I haven't said anything about trust, I just expressed my belief and I think this is true because Quran can be authenticated by millions of people word by word and there is no other like that. Anyway, we need to make sure to respect all Religions and the Rights of others.
