Firehouse and Publix are baddie sandwich sisters. Panera is the bougie cousin that went to Howard and act better than everybody. Quiznos is the fave big cousin that went on to glory. Then there's sub way. The cousin you have to explain to people before they get there.

@bunsenbernerbmd They’re not even legal here, but my neighbors have set them off frequently the past couple of weeks. My poor Scotchmallow is now afraid to go outside at night. It’s going to take weeks to get her comfortable on night walks again.

@bear_stbernard My name is Scotchmallow, but my mom calls me Honey Bean, Honey Beanie Baby Bear, Skunkmallow, Swissmas, Goofus, and Stonky Girl. And sometimes when I’m doing the most fun things (like harassing the cat or eating deer poop) she calls me “MADAM!”. 😁

@HowtoADHD I will! Also, the subject of neurodiversity came up in a work meeting this week, and I was excited to mention your book/YouTube channel/Ted Talk. And now some of my coworkers have asked me to let them know when it’s available.
@HowtoADHD I think that all I can do is be frank about my experience. I use to work so hard to mirror others & present as ‘normal’. I thought that was the price of companionship. But with therapy, I’ve learned that was one of the many ways I was putting others’ needs above my own.

@bunsenbernerbmd “Mountain dogs gonna mountain,” as my family likes to say. This was the first time my Swissy experienced snow, she was 9 months. Now she baroos her request to go out as soon as the flakes start falling.
