@feederofcats Our Stinky Baby could be his post-enucleation mirror image. At four months, she’s a reasonable weight and zooming around with her the one of our cats who announced that he’d been waiting his entire life for us to get him a kitten. Wishing Goo a similar glow up.

@UrsulaV I found losing my eyebrows Much more upsetting than losing my hair. Hair is hair, but eyebrows are facial expressions. And if you’re going to lose them, they go after you think you’re out of the woods. So it’s definitely salt in the wound of it all.

@patchworkmouse @PJEvans66030270 @Jinxsa @UrsulaV I went through a period during chemo where dill pickles suddenly had a banana aftertaste. As tuna salad had been one of the few things that had been palatable and digestible up until that day, it was a very bad day.

@UrsulaV The weekend before I started chemo my boyfriend and I ate as many of my favorite things as we reasonably could. Chemo was an ordeal, but the people around me were so kind. I’m hoping for less ordeal and even more kindness for you.

@UrsulaV I loved watching my heart beat during echocardiograms. Partly because it did its thing so well despite all the chemo. I’d lie there and feel proud of that faithful muscle.
