@jedisct1@Cloudflare Is it hard to add a failover? Or is it time for someone to build an agentic CDN proxy that automatically runs tests, updates entries accordingly, and reports potential false positives to the vendor?

Since 2003, I have often learned and applied emerging technologies months before formal certification programs were created or accredited.
Recently, a senior recruiter asked which certifications I had completed in the past few months.
My honest answer was: I was already building and assigning real AI agent projects before most related certificates were available.
But in a market overwhelmed by inflated claims, polished profiles, and superficial expertise, people who do not know your work may struggle to distinguish real experience from presentation.
So, with some humility, I spent many hours recently collecting formal credentials, including:
• Anthropic Claude API
• OpenAI Agents and Workflows
• Multiple Palantir Foundry and AIP courses
The Claude API course is especially comprehensive. It covers practical areas such as RAG, MCP, evaluations, workflows, and AI agents.
What surprised me was that I passed its assessment before completing even 20% of the course. Yet I still had to finish the full course to receive the certificate.
That experience reminded me of an uncomfortable reality: sometimes, proving that you know the work takes almost as much time as doing the work itself.
If your organization needs someone with broad technical depth, practical judgment, and the ability to identify value before it becomes obvious, let us connect.
You may benefit from expertise you did not yet know you needed.

We’re excited to introduce the Unity CLI, our new terminal-native path for connecting coding agents, CI pipelines, and custom tooling to Unity.
Unity MCP remains fully supported for your existing setups but to help with the transition, the CLI includes an "MCP Mode," allowing you to leverage existing MCP-based agents without starting from scratch.
We want to remove barriers to innovation, so we are making these tools free! Both the CLI and MCP will be free, with no concurrency limits on the MCP server.

That is exactly my view on anything quantum computing. A major building block still seems to be missing. Even @elonmusk comments rarely go beyond “interesting idea”; I have not seen serious investment or sustained research from him in this area.
Can anyone name a truly transformative product from the past 20 years, from the iPhone and Tesla EVs to SpaceX’s reusable rockets, whose success required a breakthrough in anything quantum?
These innovations were driven primarily by classical computing, software, semiconductors, batteries, materials, manufacturing, and systems engineering.
Alpha and Segma had mastered how systems think, how enemies deceive, and how hidden structures collapse. Then their own minds crossed a limit no human was meant to cross.
Both studied intelligence and counterintelligence.
Both engineered complex software, then reverse-engineered other systems to uncover what was hidden inside.
They understood one rule:
To protect a system, you must understand how someone would break it.
They were tough with the corrupt and unethical, but gentle with good people, the weak, and those needing protection.
Then something impossible happened.
Their intelligence began growing.
Not slowly.
Not “I completed another online certificate” intelligence.
Real intelligence.
They could remember everything, master subjects in hours, read behaviour like logs, detect lies like syntax errors, and understand complex systems almost instantly.
At first, it felt like a superpower.
Alpha studied science, language, mathematics, psychology, art, and thought itself.
Segma studied governments, economies, networks, influence, conflict, and redesigning society.
Alpha wanted to understand the universe.
Segma wanted to fix it.
The perfect team, right?
Of course not.
Even superintelligence comes with office politics.
Alpha saw intelligence as the destination: deeper knowledge, greater awareness, and control over his own mind.
Segma saw it as a tool to protect people, defeat corruption, stop wars, and push humanity forward, even when humanity did not ask.
Both believed they were right.
Both cared about good people.
And both concluded that the other had become dangerous.
Their conflict was not fought with guns or traditional malware.
They fought with predictions, memories, hidden signals, psychological traps, and ideas engineered to attack the mind itself.
Each reverse-engineered the other.
Each built mental defences and decoys inside decoys.
Each assumed:
“I know how he thinks.”
That assumption became the real vulnerability.
Segma planted harmless fragments across Alpha’s experiences.
A visual pattern.
A sound.
A strange interaction.
A meaningless memory.
Alone, they were nothing.
Together, they formed a cognitive payload.
When Alpha connected the pieces, his greatest strength became his fatal weakness.
He understood.
And the moment he understood, the idea destroyed him.
That is the darkest lesson:
Superintelligence does not remove ego, conflict, ideology, or dangerous assumptions.
It upgrades them.
A smarter system is not automatically wiser.
A powerful protector can become a dictator.
A brilliant explorer can become disconnected from humanity.
And the most dangerous attack may not be malware entering your computer.
It may be an idea entering your mind, waiting quietly, then using your own intelligence to execute itself.

17 years ago, I was discussing a question with my older brother:
What is the ultimate form of programming?
He answered:
“Code that can write and improve itself without any human intervention.”
Since then, I have kept a close eye on every major generation of programming languages, frameworks, and development tools, wondering whether any of them had finally made this possible.
From time to time, I performed a few experiments, only to reach the same conclusion:
Interesting idea, but still not feasible.
Today, however, it seems we may be approaching that point much sooner than many expected.
Weco AI recently published what it describes as the first experimental evidence of consistent recursive self-improvement, or RSI.
Its AIDE² system used an outer AI research loop to rewrite and improve an inner AI research agent. Over 100 autonomous iterations and eight unattended days, it produced seven progressively improved versions of the agent.
According to the reported results, the system:
• Outperformed an agent manually refined by humans over two years
• Reduced prompt size by an average of 16×
• Developed a new search strategy
• Improved performance on tasks it had never encountered
• Reduced reward hacking from 63% to 34%
This is not yet the science-fiction version of AI endlessly redesigning itself into superintelligence.
The researchers classify it as Level 1 RSI: net-positive self-improvement. It improved itself more efficiently than the comparable human-driven process, but it did not conclusively demonstrate “ignition,” where each improved system becomes significantly better at creating the next one.
Still, this may represent an important transition:
Software is no longer only executing the logic we write.
It is beginning to experiment with, evaluate, and rewrite the systems that produce that logic.
The question may no longer be whether code can improve itself.
The question is how quickly the improvement loop will accelerate, and whether our ability to understand, verify, and control the resulting code can keep pace.
Research:

We are entering a completely new era of science
Here is Yuji Tachikawa from Japan (Mathematical Physics, String Theory, QFT) on recent progress in his own work using Fable 5 :
"I've been trying out Claude Fable recently, and last night, on a whim, I showed it my research notes about a collaborative project that's seen no progress in the past six months or so and asked for its thoughts. To my surprise, it made a non-trivial observation and essentially solved it."
"I was also surprised that it was using sympy to automatically write code and verify his own predictions."
"Fable probably seems like it properly understands string theory and has intuition too—that's my impression"
📺 Just cleaned up a public IPTV HLS list the hard way.
Ran every stream through a 3-stage pipeline — HTTP reachability check, ffmpeg media validation, and a strict "video frame within 3 seconds" cutoff — to strip out the dead links and slow-loading junk that make most public IPTV lists useless.
Result: a verified, fast-starting channel list, plus a simple browser-based player (just click a channel name, no setup) to try them out.
If you've ever wasted time on IPTV lists full of broken links, this should save you some.
Bonus: Chrome can now play HLS (.m3u8) streams directly in the browser, no extra JS libraries required — so I built a simple player straight into the repo. Click a channel, it plays (find viplist.html).
