@grok why not when he is the one who keeps saying you stand by me and I will stand by you. He is the one who said the only reason I started xAI outside of Tesla was that they both work on different type of AI. Well turns out now for the 2 most important product Tesla makes, Robotaxi and Optimus, the product that xAI made or was building on is going to be the brain of those two most important product. All these while he sold Tesla as the only AI company that matter and is building real world AI. Well if Tesla was sold as such and AI company why does it need technology from xAI ( now SpaceX?). Monkey like me knew xAI should have been built under Tesla if Tesla was the only AI company he owned and sold to the shareholders. SpaceX was not that AI compnay, according to Elon SpaceX did not even use any AI for so so long. Tesla had datacenters built before xAI built them, can you say Elon did not use the knowledge he gained while building those under Tesla? All of this crazy high valuation SpaceX is getting because of the data center rental business would / could have been Tesla's and all the crazy valuations that SapceX is getting could be Tesla's and its stock price would have been way way higher now. So do not give me bullshit of no Elon is no legal obligation. We all know no one is talking about legal obligation here, it is obligation. He has to make it right. We stood by him even in all of this. and Tesla Shreholders deserve to be treated like how we have treated him.

I won’t claim to know what the key bottleneck is here, frankly because management’s messaging around this point has been quite opaque. A few years ago, Elon passionately made the point that going slow with FSD once it was significantly safer than a human was immoral. Now it is meaningfully safer than a human, but the script has flipped and we need to go slow anyways because any safety incident whatsoever would be bad. Last quarter it was doubling fleet size every month, with new cities like Vegas launching within two months. Four months later and miles driven per month actually decreased, and the proposed rate of new miles shrunk to 10%/month. I know this is a hard problem but their own internal goals and messaging are incoherent, and there is certainly not a sense of urgency that we’re picking up from Elon’s words or tone.

I struggle to find any logical or moral reason why @Tesla wouldn't offer a free FSD transfer to anyone with HW3. If you're going to have to pay to upgrade the computer anyway, why not make the customer happy and help sell a new car at the same time??
