@dieworkwear No one is arguing a hand sequined dress is more durable than a regular dress because it costs more than an off the rack dress due to all the work hours involved. The boots part of the theory specifically calls out a working man's work boots. Not fashion.

@dieworkwear Completely missed the point. This is items that wear out in a few months vs items that wear out I'm a few years. Buying 4 pairs of 30 dollar boots vs 1 pair of 100 dollar boots in the same period. Nickle and dime, you "save" 20 dollars because you can afford to outlay more.

@dieworkwear Just like buying toilet paper in bulk vs 4 rolls at a time. The difference between budgeting on a salary, vs paycheck to paycheck zero hours a week. Just because you misread or strawman'd the simplified summary does not allow you to apply the logic to very expensive things.

@dispeldice They don't know it yet, but two players are helping each other find the same thing but only one of them can get it. The wishblade is the only way to cast a single wish in the campaign and they both need it to save their respective loved ones. Maybe they'll wish for more wishes...
