@SarahKateIshii The books which sell best are those where the author has lots of friends, family, supporters, contacts who are interested in what they are doing. This can be ANYONE as an author - a 14 year old at school, a retired congressman, a retired actor. You sell to your audience primarily

@bruce_steiner Working in a warehouse, my dad was the over-manager but not around day to day, just sometimes, he made sure that the foreman knew to treat me like anyone else but also to make sure I wasn't bullied. I was 16 and it was the summer holidays.
