When they ask you to provide 95% confidence interval for prediction and not make any mistakes
Why though? Because of personal liquidity? If we ignore liquidity (say you have a small account) - why not go to the smallest possible stocks? I personally think this argument about competitive dynamics across market cap ranges is monotonic - you keep going smaller, it keeps getting easier.

📈 $CMP.AX breaking out to multi-year highs with nice volume after H1 results Called this at P/S ~1 when peers traded at multiples. Thesis playing out: 🔹Record H1 sales orders (+55% YoY ex-MEG) 🔹US orders up 208% YoY (the key market) 🔹Shipped revenue +32% 🔹FDA clearance creating real traction Bought more after MEG order. Position working nicely 🎯
Have a started position in $CMP.AX . At the time of write up was on the sidelines, but today's announcement for new MEG A$5mm order (vs TTM revenue of A$51mm, so ~10% bump) pushed me over the fence. MEG segment was not part of what I am excited about, but it doing well provides

IMO, its apples to oranges. Data providers and research shops charge because that's their only income. They stop charging = they make 0 for a year. For successful investor main income should be/eventually become investment profits in personal account. If you can compound at 15% CAGR, even starting with smallish account you should soon get to a place where Substack money is much less meaningful. That is - unless you are outlier in Substack, like Compounding Quality.

@TidefallCapital I have head this more than once, but talking with management teams in person, rather than in filings. Logic usually is that reinvestment is better than dividends, so mostly do that, but create token dividend as dvd_yield>0% is sometimes a checklist item for some funds.
