Interesting info link on Thyroids Levels. I was curious to know if my late Mum's Thyroids were contributory to her Dementia. Yes, it can have an impact. However, not Vascular Dementia which my late Mum had. #dementia #thyroid #health #mentalhealth neurologyadvisor.com/topics/neurode….

@ourftdjourney @tide_carers elderly Mum gets the care she needed after pleading with the Social Service to attend at the higher part in March last year of the pandemic. The Social Service need to be brought to account for the actions that GP and local authority's don't take action on.

Music is especially good for the person with Dementia, My late elderly Mum loved to dance and she loved the music of her youth. Gardening. Going for walk, Dementia stops people from venturing outside keeping them a prisoner so make sure it's a daily walk if possible. #dementia

Helping to keep a memory diary or journal for the person going through Dementia of happy times of their lives. Doing Memory games or a book can be so important. Having Sensory items that can be felt and seen, tasted such as fruit or crisp packets are good, crisps make the sound.

Both young and old can be affected by Dementia at any time causing sudden change or slow-paced change. In the case of my elderly Mum, it was Advanced Vascular Dementia that struck fast in the later stages of the condition that my Mum experienced. #dementia #support #Awareness

@LilyBaileyUK We love Bernie Sanders we do. My late Mum bless her loved Bernie but thought it was Biden and she didn't mind him either. I know if Bernie manages to get to become the next President she will be thrilled to see this take place.
