My unpopular opinion is that the best AI employees aren't actually fully autonomous.
At least not at first.
And anyone selling you full autonomy is selling you a bad hire.
of course "autonomous" is sexier to say in marketing and to investors but the reality is that for most creative tasks, you're not getting the results you're looking for with zero human intervention.
While designing Camille (AI marketing employee), it helped me tremendously to take a step back and think about what makes a good human hire.
If you hired a new human employee you wouldn't want them to start publishing 100s of pieces of content on their first day without you reviewing any of it. Or without understanding the rationale behind the decisions they are making.
Instead, you'd assign them a first project. You'd review it, ask them questions on the decisions they made, provide your feedback, and over time, they'd learn, the amount of time required from you would decrease, and you'd build trust in their abilities to do good work.
On the flip side, if your new hire required hand holding for every decision, every step of every deliverable, etc, you'd get pissed off pretty quickly.
I think designing that balance early in the human:agent relationship is what will really drive adoption and ultimately make your agent/AI employee the one that sticks around and gives people that feeling of "it just works".
@EcomMikeGalvin Yeah true … I also think SaaS can learn from Ecom in terms of testing. Ecom guys always run test campaigns before ordering a warehouse of inventory. Most SaaS noobs have an idea, and decide to hole up in the basement for 6 months building their MVP without validating anything.

@zakjprofits Yeah, for some reason whenever I come back to my hometown I become 10x less productive
I think I associate the location with old actions which I end up falling into again
