Decided it was finally time, to just start posting work. Here is my latest project, a custom take on a Disney park. RN I've been using WDW and DLP as my basis for it.
Some of Ryman's last work was for DLP 1920's themed Main Street 1988. A great teacher and wonderful pal.

The 20s version of MSUSA, included a movie theater. But was it considered for the Victorian version? Given the appearance of the arcades in this style, doubts are allowed. Or was it considered for a while to have a more 20s style for the arcades? @boss_angeles
John DeCuir Sr time. A bit of "Hello Dolly!" quick sketching. Guess the scenes.
John DeCuir was not just some sketch artist, he was also an expert draftsman, look at the perspective and detail! He drew to the lens he envisioned. He literally was a master of his craft.
Sam McKim's sketches captured the small town feel.
Main Street Upjohn Pharmacy exhibit 1955-1970. Very cinematic, and yes, they did have real leeches on display.
You guys were being geniuses!
One tunnel? Marvin Davis explored it for Disneyland in this sketch. When we did the center tunnel at EDL, we used the bandstand to block the Castle from ticketing. Some things are worth revealing!

When I do sketch out iconic / theme type architecture with abstract facades, I like to push the edge, then scale it back with practical and functional to the core DNA of the original #DesignThinking..
