While we pre-treated I-95 northbound and southbound, we anticipate travel will be hazardous overnight once the snow starts. Please avoid unnecessary travel overnight. The safest place to be during a winter storm is home.

Mobile pre-treatment on I-95 is underway! Pls. slow down + give slow-moving tanker trucks room to apply salt brine solution ahead of tonight's winter weather. Tankers travel at 35 mph to ensure material can be absorbed by the pavement. TY! What you'll see, below.

We wish we had a timetable, ETA or an educated guess on when travel will resume on I-95. It's at a standstill in our area with multiple incidents. Its frustrating & scary. Please know our crews don't stop. Crews will work 24/7 until ALL state-maintained roads are safe for travel
