@NewPopLit @SaveYourCinema No, 3-strip Cinerama (what you're seeing in this video) is vastly different from single-camera 70mm Cinerama. By the 60s, the name "Cinerama" had been reduced to a brand name, & the 3-strip process was largely abandoned. GRAND PRIX (1966) was filmed in Super Panavision 70.

@TheCinesthetic I've long thought that David Morrell's original 1972 novel needs a more authentic adaptation. The fact that in 1982, after negative test screenings, they reshot the original ending, where, as in the book, Rambo dies, set the character up for sequels. I think that was a mistake.
