Xabi Alonso a key part of the deal. 21-year-old is now finalising terms, having already picked Chelsea over Inter. Palestra viewed as a versatile two-sided full-back. Minutes of a left a factor in why Chelsea chose to move. Palestra was also offered to Arsenal and Liverpool as a move to England was explored this summer. Inter unable to match Chelsea’s wage proposal, but Palestra still fits within the club’s incentive-driven structure.🇮🇹
