It is with great sadness that our project to make a room at the Royal Derby Hospital on the maternity ward in to a Jacob Star room where people at time of need can have some quiet time has been rejected by the powers that be.
They have rejected a change of use from a mostly disused/used for storage office in to the beautiful room we had planned! Very frustrating that we have YET AGAIN been denied the opportunity to improve facilities for bereaved families andfind it very upsetting because of people
Visit to the Labour ward, it never gets easier visiting here with memories, but the reason we are doing it this time is to create a memory of Jacob. Big project around the corner, we are currently choosing colour schemes and furniture 😉😁 and will show more as soon as we can.

We had our charity Race Night 2018 last night and what a great night we had. Great atmosphere and lovely food. Thank you to everyone that attended and gave so generously!
