FGED volumes 1 and 2 each had crowd funding campaigns that provided a way for supporters to get perks like acknowledgments in the books, autographed copies, and licenses to my software. I wasn't planning to run a campaign for FGED3, but I understand some people would still like access to these perks this time around, and I'd be willing to run a campaign to make them available. What do you think?
@niuage You can even ask the AI to explain the new code if you need it. There is no excuse, just laziness. I spend "a lot" of time reading every plan and every output before moving forward, I don't like losing track of what's happening, but I confess I had to fight against the mind-trap.
@niuage I see that as bad practices, not as a problem of the technology. Some people feel that they are wasting time if they stop and read / understand the code made by AI, but that's non-sense. They are already saving 50h of work, they could perfectly spend 1 extra h before continuing.
It's funny to read how people are blaming AI for the bad practices programmers have been doing for the last 10 years. Suddenly, we all were writing perfect code, understood all the code in our codebase, were shipping super-tested code... but then... AI came and ruined it all.
