As a veteran of 2-3? crashes, this is a great read. While it scratches the itch of the current value dislocations, I’m not sure it goes down this way. All booms, bubbles and crashes are different.

No. Mega funds are not "taking over seed." Megafunds have simply raised so much capital that the bar for a round (at any size) has been dramatically lowered. This is pulling companies through the fundraising stages prematurely. Companies that should be raising $1M are raising $10M. Companies that should be raising $10M are raising $100M. Companies that should be raising $100M are raising $1B. This is happening regularly now. The 2025 and 2026 vintages are going to be among the worst in the history of the asset class. Hold on to your hat.

@typesfast What?!? Swimming is one of the biggies! Always a primetime sport. Especially for Freestyle 100, Medleys, Butterfly, etc… In a small (er) venue in LA?? Hell yeah it’s going to be expensive! For better or worse.
