James Caster @JamesPCaster

@IdaRHewitt - is anything close to 'nice'. He steels himself a little further at Jack's challenge.* It's quite late already. Ida, you put your all into that last show. Need a rest?

@IdaRHewitt - going through James' mind. He wants to check Ida's expression - the honesty he's been training himself to see behind it. But there's something of a coward in him, really. He doesn't dare.* Got a nice evening planned, have you? *It's not nice. Nothing about Ida's reaction -

@IdaRHewitt - her in response. It is almost lovers embrace, from a man who is far from a lover. Once more he covers it with the careful guise of friendship.* Aye. Aye, I’ll miss you too.

@IdaRHewitt - been so constant in his life, and suddenly he will have lost that. All at once, and then nothing at all.* /I/ was wonderful? Ida, I think we both know who we have to thank for that performance, and it’s definitely not me. *He chuckles lightly, moving to embrace -

@IdaRHewitt -to swallow any comments he knows shall not take him to any answers. This night, which they have spent so painfully far apart, feels like a goodbye. For they are friends, now - the cast know that, /Jack/ knows that - but who knows when they will meet again. Her presence has -

@IdaRHewitt - few months. He’s had suspicions about Jack, of course, but Ida has been clever with him. Convinced him that it’s all just jealousy talking ( as though James has reason to be jealous ). His concerns seem only fickle and false now, although present, and he has learnt -

@IdaRHewitt *Her co-star endeavours to act surprised. It’s almost false, as though he didn't know she was here. As though they hadn’t shared a stage. As though his gaze hadn't been watching her their entire night. But James is an actor, by trade, and his trade has served him well this past -

@IdaRHewitt -txt- Peak. Brilliant. I don't know. It sounded good. *A pause. Barely a minute.* -txt- Basically you're hot as fuck.

@IdaRHewitt -txt- In that case, peak old age is DEFINITELY peak. ;) *It's a risk, teasing her with that. He almost winces. But it's meant pleasantly.*

@IdaRHewitt -txt- I wasn't suggesting Christmas. But aye. We'll sort something. -txt- Oh congrats! 🎉

@IdaRHewitt -txt- And what will be on the menu? ;) -txt- Sorry, sorry. *God, he's awful.* -txt- I'll come in the new year, yeah? It'll be nice.

@IdaRHewitt -txt- I can't yet. -txt- Much as I want to. *He's here for three days. And yet she's made him want to jump on the next train.* -txt- First day I'm back. Promise.

@IdaRHewitt -txt- Wish I could. *She'd be correct. Though a proud Scotsman through and through, it's only his mother left for him there now. Even she's considering the move.* -txt- You come here.

@IdaRHewitt -txt- Merry Christmas, Mother. 😉 X *The little joke he hasn't let go off. Perhaps inappropriate, considering he's spending Christmas with his /actual/ mother.* -txt- Good things planned? X

@IdaRHewitt *He no longer has to hold back, no longer under the critical gaze of a thousand spectators, no longer before her husband. He wants her, fuck, he does, and he doesn't have to hide it. His kiss is fierce, his touch is filthy.*

@IdaRHewitt *He's somewhat quick in his proceeding movement. Settling his hands carefully, he lifts her back up onto her dressing table, and seamlessly follows her lips into a kiss.*

@IdaRHewitt I'm not going to say no. Christ, I'm not saying no... *He's quick to move to her then, his hand moving to caress her arm with a gentle touch, as though he must be gradual, certain that she absolutely wants him. She's a dream. He never imagined further than that.*

@IdaRHewitt That's not what I said. It's not even what I... Ida, are you sure about this? I mean, you must know how I... fuck, how I 'feel' sounds wrong, doesn't it? But... Christ, I want you.
