One phrase on the 44-page NPC doctrine released (too close to convention IMHO): None of it matters of democratically-elected and accountable NHGO's are put in place. Period.

@EcoJameson It's all we have, when it comes right down to it. Thing I realized (again, lol, thanks to "Christmas Story 2 -- don't ask) is... in the end, all we have is those we care about and love, because everything else is material and fleeting. So, what the heck are we doing til then?

@EcoJameson I'm not sure where we go from here, though -- our community is not taking steps to heal itself. And Left spaces, as much as they say they are understanding, celebratory and inclusive -- seem to want to erase us, to be part of a milquetoast cisgenderheteronormative meld.

@EcoJameson IMHO, ofc. :) LOL. I personally didn't think I was for marriage until -- of all things -- the pandemic, Christmas alone, and (don't laugh) "A Christmas Story 2". And now...marriage? Uh, yes please. :)

@EcoJameson This has, slowly, become a creeping thought in my mind as well -- primarily because the "dating" scene in the Queer spaces has become so disheartening. It really makes me wonder what happened to our community -- we pushed for marriage, but we're further from well-being than ever.

Fundraiser is for me -- but also, to take some pressure off of her, because she sends me help and is the person primarily providing care to me at this time (though, from afar). I do rely on her a bit, so...I'm trying to raise money to fix the COVID-19 financial hole without her.

I had posted it elsewhere, not wanting to bring personal fundraising over into my NPC campaign space (I worried people would misunderstand what I was raising money for). But now that my campaign is inactive, it seems okay. On my mom: 7 more weeks of treatment. She's hanging in!

Maybe in @DSADisability, as a member, I'd rather move on, focus on these: 1) A group for Survivors; 2) A group for neurodivergents (as it's been a recurring topic for some, setting notions of general controversy from others aside); 3) Opening dialogue on #TrueSocialSecurity.

@apickettline @meganromer @linguini_anthro @irockgnomes Could also be expanded to include official documents and publications of DSA as released; official statements and actions taken by DSA, by NPC or authorized by other means; and a variety of other materials, entered as the record shows. A board isn't appropriate for that, though.

National-level minutes and materials should be kept, logged and easily accessible; some correspondence; regular financial reports; and other matters entered into record overall, as well.
