@drizzylitfw For MONTHS after my cat died, his best friend would sit in the same spot he always slept (on the corner of the rug in the living room) and just STARE at the wall. He would sit there for a good ten minutes. They do see the unknown.

@RickD_GK They DO know. My dog was very sick, I was putting her to sleep the next morning. My other dog carried EVERY single one of her toys over to her. The next day, after Emma was gone, Maddie never touched her toys again. I'll never understand why.

@GeorgeKerber404 @sarahtexe As a retired teacher, believe me, I spent TONS of money. I had to buy chalk, paper, pencils. There was never any budget for disposable items. It's crazy. They would have all this cash that HAD to be spent on books or cabinets or capital items, but never what we needed.

@be_like_ice My dog lived for those walks. It is the most precious memory I have of her. I have not walked since she passed 5 years ago. Just driving down the streets brings tears to my eyes. God I miss her so much.

@Bennieeexyz My first yr teaching I taught kindergarten and we went to the cafeteria to make cookies. One kid was sitting at the table sniffing flour. I asked him what he was doing. He said that's what his daddy does. Parents, there are no secrets. They tell everything!!!

My parents have passed and I have so many personal belongings like my mother's custom jewelry box her dad made when she was a child. My question, I have no heirs, everything I have will be trashed. My stuff, my parents memories. I do not know how to deal with the sadness.
