@robsfromnowhere No, they're not. ESA saying things, but they're not a government agency. They softened their statement saying that servers without authorization should be illegal. All private servers of Minecraft are authorized by the Minecraft EULA.

@RealThisisChris Would be kind of hard to enforce this. I mean Microsoft and Mojang aren't in California, and they can't enforce unenforceable laws outside the state. Microsoft would likely say that because of the EULA, there is no issue.
