This weekend, more than 50,000 people filled the streets of New York for the Israel Day Parade. No riots. No vandalism. No calls for violence. No terrorist flags. Just people celebrating their identity, their heritage, and their connection to Israel. At a time when anti-Israel demonstrations too often translate into intimidation, glorification of terror, and antisemitic rhetoric, the contrast could not be clearer. We will not apologize for our pride. We will not hide our connection to Israel. And we certainly will not surrender the streets to those who spread hate in its name.

It is not luck or coincidence that Israel has finished in Eurovision’s top 5 for four consecutive years. In completely different moments, in war and in peace, and despite all the noise in recent years, Noam Bettan, Yuval Raphael, Eden Golan, and Noa Kirel reached the top because they brought real talent to the stage. We can’t believe we have to say this in 2026, but the world is getting far too comfortable attacking Jews in their synagogues. Just now, a ramming and shooting attack targeted Temple Israel synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan, where children and adults were present at the time. Fortunately, all children and staff from the synagogue’s school have been accounted for and are safe. In recent days alone, three synagogues in Toronto were targeted by gunfire, and an explosion was detonated at a synagogue in Belgium. This is not isolated. Antisemitism is targeting synagogues and is happening in plain sight.
