Ob 10 Jahre bei Immobilien oder 1 Jahr bei Krypto: Der deutsche Staat greift nach den steuerfreien Haltefristen.
Heute wurde bekannt, dass die einjährige Haltefrist für Bitcoin möglicherweise abgeschafft werden soll. Noch ist das nicht beschlossen – aber es war wohl nur eine Frage der Zeit. Eine Regierung, die immer neue Einnahmequellen sucht, um das Geld anschließen sinnlos zu verschwenden, richtet ihren Blick irgendwann auch auf Bitcoin. Finanziell dürfte das dem Staat kaum nennenswerte Mehreinnahmen bringen. Politisch sorgt der Vorschlag allerdings schon jetzt für erheblichen Gegenwind aus der Bitcoin-Community. Trotzdem zeigt die aktuelle Debatte einmal mehr, wie viele Menschen das Gefühl haben, dass der Staat immer tiefer in das Vermögen seiner Bürger eingreift, statt zuerst seine Ausgaben zu hinterfragen. Entsprechend groß ist die Empörung. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das entwickelt. Die Diskussion dürfte gerade erst begonnen haben. Für mich bleibt der entscheidende Punkt: Bitcoin ist ein Vermögenswert – ähnlich wie Gold. Entsprechend sollte er auch steuerlich eingeordnet werden. Wenn die Haltefrist für Bitcoin fällt, warum dann nicht auch für Gold?
Vor 13 Jahren, am 20. Juni 2013, antwortete die Bundesregierung auf meine Anfrage: Bitcoin ist ein privates Veräußerungsgeschäft nach §23 EStG – nach einem Jahr steuerfrei. Wie Gold. 13 Jahre Rechtssicherheit und Vertrauensschutz. Genau das will Klingbeil jetzt abräumen. Hände weg von der Haltefrist! #Bitcoin
Nun also doch: Bitcoin Haltefrist soll fallen
Anstatt komplett sinnfreie neue Regeln einzuführen (ärztliches Attest am ersten Tag), die Arztpraxen völlig zu überlasten, sollte man sich einmal die Frage stellen, warum die 🇩🇪Deutschen so oft fehlen. Könnte es vielleicht daran liegen, dass ihnen der Staat die Hälfte wegnimmt? Da hätte ich auch keinen Bock zu arbeiten.
Bitcoin ist strukturell Gold, nicht Aktie. Wenn die Regierung Bitcoin wie Aktien besteuern will, dann begibt sie sich auf steuerrechtlich dünnes Eis und zerstört das Vertrauen in unseren Rechtsstaat. welt.de/debatte/plus69…
Obwohl die einjährige steuerfreie Haltefrist für Bitcoin & Kryptos durch das aktuelle Steuerpaket unangetastet bleibt, musst man sich auf zeitnahe Änderungen einstellen. Es wird erwartet, dass unsere Regierung kommenden Woche einen neuen Gesetzentwurf vorlegt, der entweder eine Abgeltungssteuer von 25%, die Besteuerung mit dem persönlichen Einkommensteuersatz (ggf. bald max. 47%) oder eine Verlängerung der Haltefrist auf 10 Jahre (!) wie bei Immobilien vorsehen könnte.
Sie wollen die Steuerfreiheit nach einem Jahr Haltezeit für Bitcoin🚀🌕und Kryptos abschaffen💶. Juckt Dich vllt nicht, da Du eh nicht investiert bist. Aber danach kommen Gold🥇& Silber🥈. Dann kommen Immobilien🏘️ (10 Jahre). Zum Schluss kommen Uhren⌚️, Kunst🖼️, Oldtimer🚘,

Wenn die @spdbt und @larsklingbeil wirklich glauben, mit einer neuen Kryptosteuer sei dauerhaft nennenswert Geld zu holen – dann stellen sich zwei Fragen: WARUM taucht Bitcoin in der laufenden Altersvorsorge-Debatte mit keinem Wort auf? Und WARUM denkt die Partei nicht den nächsten logischen Schritt? Für den Staat ist Bitcoin relevant genug, um stärker besteuert zu werden. Aber nicht relevant genug, um Bürgern beim Vermögensaufbau zu helfen? Und schon gar nicht relevant genug, um über eine strategische Bitcoin-Reserve für Deutschland nachzudenken? Das ist keine kluge und konsistente Finanzpolitik. Das ist kurzfristige Rosinenpickerei. Nicht nur zugreifen, Lars. 😉 Auch strategisch denken! Im Übrigen: Die Haltefrist muss bleiben! #ProHaltefrist

Ich will nicht nach Paraguay. Ich will nicht nach Panama. Ich will, dass der Steuerwahnsinn in Deutschland endlich aufhört! Im druckfrischen Haushaltsentwurf des BMF unter @larsklingbeil steht schwarz auf weiß: Krypto-Gewinne sollen künftig den Einkünften aus Kapitalvermögen zugeordnet werden – unabhängig von der bisherigen einjährigen Haltefrist. Begründet wird das so: „Wer mit Kryptowerten Gewinne erzielt, soll künftig ebenso seinen Beitrag zur Finanzierung des Gemeinwesens beitragen wie derjenige, der seinen Arbeitslohn oder Aktienerträge versteuert.“ Das ist keine „nachvollziehbare Besteuerung“. Das ist der nächste Griff in die Tasche privater Anleger. Hier ein Gegenvorschlag: ✅ Haltefrist bleibt ✅ Kapitalertragssteuer abschaffen ⬇️ Einkommensteuer runter Dann hättet ihr mal wirklich nachvollziehbare Steuerregeln! #ProHaltefrist
