Pretty tight correlation of Treasury yields/oil prices over the past year. Recent decline in both suggesting economy is slowing under the weight of high interest rates. Combine with the slowing consumer and clear signs of disinflation suggests the #Fed should cut rates soon.

Consumers are getting relief from easing food inflation. The #CPI categories for groceries (food at home) and restaurants (food away from home) have seen annual price growth slow to the lowest level since 2021. Grocery prices are up only 1.0% Y/Y.
