I am officially endorsing Catalina Lauf for Congress in Florida’s 19th Congressional District. Her main opponent is Jim Schwartzel who did not support President Trump in 2024 and forced his employees to get the vaccine or be fired Catalina Lauf (@CatalinaLauf) is a former member of President Donald J. Trump’s Administration, successful entrepreneur, and unapologetic America First conservative who is ready to bring a new generation of leadership to Congress. Hey @FloridaGOP and @EvanPower, I just saw the statement by the Florida GOP regarding the gubernatorial debate we held: “It is unfortunate that a collection of political interest groups and media outlets have attempted to hijack this process for their own publicity and unilaterally dictate terms to the candidates. That is not how this works”. For their own publicity? What a weak position. Who is your priority? The Florida GOP or the Florida VOTERS? Maybe you move too slow. Maybe times have changed. Maybe you ought to make the voter the priority not you losing control of the GOP in Florida. Maybe you’re not aware of how annoyed Florida voters are with you. By the way, Why did the candidates agree to the debate? I personally spoke with every candidate including Byron Donalds, who chose not to participate due to the lead he has in the polls. All participants agreed to the “terms”. I don’t appreciate this lazy statement by the party. A simple “Thank you” would do. Very disappointed.

The chairman of the party should not be insulting the intelligence of Republican voters. A debate was promised and these ridiculous criteria are being used to renege on that promise and to engineer a preferred outcome. Why not just take 90 minutes, find a tv partner, and let the candidates mix it up? The only reason why you wouldn’t is if the party hierarchy is serving outside interests instead of the best interests of the voters.
