Just pulled the trigger on a MCA sound card for my PS/2. I can remember as a 12yr old going to the local computer shop and wishing I had the money to buy a Soundblaster MCA which of course was more expensive than its ISA counterpart.

Picked up an MCS-600 Future Domain SCSI Microchannel card for converting my PS/2 model 70 to an SD based harddrive using a SCSI2SD or ZuluSCSI adapter. Pretty awesome considering IBM used ESDI drives which died with the PS/2 line. Also makes switching OS's a breeze!

@sampowers oh you know I'll be bbsing on this thing. They make devices you can plug into the serial port and hook to ethernet. You can then telnet to BBS's or other places.... Who knows, I still have a couple modems packed away. Might have to pull them out too!

Got a Microchannel 10BaseT card for my PS2. Found a neat project called mTCP which brings the tcp/ip stack to DOS. I'll be able to ftp files onto the machine! Now just need to get a PS2 keyboard, a monitor, and a box of blank 1.44 disks!

Recently visited my parents and brought home our first family computer. An IBM PS/2 Model 70 (386/20mhz). Purchased in 1989. The original monitor and keyboard and everything else is apparently gone. Just the computer. So can you guess what my next project is?
