I've been running my tech services business for 4 years and during that time I've made a lot of poor decisions. Almost all of them were made because I put a time crunch on myself... I suffer from really bad FOMO. The last 5 months I've been training myself to stop and run a series of mental models on any big decision. It's made me realize that not every opportunity is worth pursuing

Suddenly businesses can get talent to wnt to commtue downtown. Suddenly stores and bars can survive downtown. Suddenly people want to actually live downown

Reading Isaacson's Steve Jobs biography. Interesting to see the closed vs open system debate - Android vs Apple for smart phone. Windows vs MacOS for operating systems. Always hated on Apple for closed systems... but understanding Job's vision for Hardware + Software built in unison makes me understand why this is likely better for 95% of users
