I think it’s silly to criticize people with verified track records for charging for their time & knowledge. Think about the ever-growing pool of people charging $ who actually suck at trading and instill terrible habits into new, impressionable traders? Those are who really deserve criticism. I agree with you that it’s amazing when traders share for free, but a reasonably priced paywall can actually be a net positive as it weeds out non serious traders

The most important sentence in this pic is the final one that mentions if it just brushes a player’s hair “it does not reset the offside path”

Not a Bitcoin bull/bear, but I think context matters way more than “setups” or patterns: 1. The sharp decline in the gold chart (2022) your comparison implies is the equivalent to current $BTC weakness happened when almost all assets except USD were in a brutal bear. We are not in a bear market, yet $BTC has done nothing but struggle. 2. Before gold broke out in early 2024, it has displayed relative strength (RS) compared to stock indices for weeks. It did not suddenly gap up 50% overnight, so there was no need for traders to anticipate or predict a move when it was at RS lows. Currently, $BTC is displaying relative weakness to just about any asset you can find. 3. The gold breakout you’re showing came out of a literal 10 year base. It was essentially a massive C&H. 4. Based on COT positioning data as of 6/23, large speculators are massively long Bitcoin. In fact, the most recent COT print shows large speculators the most long BTC futures they have ever been. Over the course of gold’s incredible rally, specs were significantly less long gold than average positioning over the previous 2 year period. Context is everything. Relative strength precedes big moves. Wait for RS as market confirmation. Risk/reward is a function of positioning. Don’t fight the tape in a crowded market.

@801010athlete I remember that, not sure if I followed you on my current account or my first/original Twitter at the time but it was a huge lesson for me because I got a sense of how powerful, absurd and even telegraphed a climax top can be.
