@rohitjoycpa Simi Valley, Steve has 3 aunts that live there so we get to visit family and get out of the heat. I like having the car so we can day trip to Malibu or Ventura or Santa Barbara.

Packed up the 4 kids, loaded up the Honda Odyssey, and hit the road from DFW to California. First hotel stay as a family of 6 and Embassy Suites impressed me. Currently somewhere west of Amarillo.

@CodeAlpha00 @plesafortexas Plesa has made it clear she hates homeschooled kids. She paid some weird old creep in Plano thousands of dollars to harass my kids (who were 1,3 and 5 at the time- so not even school aged). She doesn’t even have kids!

@kmd73090 @JulieLovesFluff I’ve had a couple of geriatric pregnancies and recently had my 4th at 40. I had to find new medical providers because my previous one had retired and moved far away and I was bracing myself but it was so easy and pleasant. Normal healthy pregnancy. No one called me geriatric.

Some books just have to be physical. In our Charlotte Mason AmblesideOnline homeschool, we use Kindle + Audible/Yoto, but James Herriot’s Treasury for Children and Holling C. Holling’s Paddle-to-the-Sea are must-buys in print. The artwork is beautiful. Perfect gifts too.

@littleapostate I love seeing moms with their first born daughter, there’s something so chic about it. I used to have that then I had 3 boys and life is less chic now. But full!
