@Sherronesmoore My therapist told me to walk in, introduce myself, and give them my CV. She was crushed when I explained that the 10 hours a week retail job I was applying for required you to complete a 40 minute online questionnaire before they'd even look at you 😄. (They rejected me).

Growing up I never dreamed my life would involve such tiny portions.
Bulgur wheat: healthy choice for diabetics, whole grain, low glycaemic index, plenty of fibre. Tabbouleh: OK for diabetics but in moderation because it contains bulgur wheat 🙄
@PokeMarr Out with my mother, I tried on a shapeless designer rag in an expensive department store so we could laugh at it. It looked fantastic. Couldn't afford it and we were so sad 😄
Finally fell asleep and was woken almost immediately by Monty cat falling off the back of the couch 🙄😿
I spent a lot in the local shop and said to the assistant "Money no longer means anything to me" intending to explain about my £700 vet bill, but she immediately shook her head and said "£800 last week for my cat to have 3 teeth out" so we totally understand each other.

I made tabbouleh. Never tasted it before. Everything about it confuses me, but it's great with roast chicken, ribeye steak, and pan seared tuna, and somehow goes with red wine. Astonishing.
My list of blessings is a bit short and sad so I'm making a list of things I hate that I'm never going to have to do again.

@oelma__ I meowed at a cat. She led me down the garden delivering a whole monologue about her life, showed me another cat, walked me back to the house (still talking) then moved in with my mother. She lived with us for 11 years until she died. They respond.

@kamiljr49 Surprisingly, no. I'm an introvert and pretty much the poster child for ADHD, but I was always happy with my nerdy interests, and choice of clothes. To be fair, though, I also had mainstream interests and was tall and slim, so the bullying was minimal.
