The NYSAB has been campaigning for a #NationalYouthStrategy to give youth work its rightful place at the table, together with the investment needed to build the capacity of the workforce, strengthen the evidence-base and create the policies needed to formally integrate youth work practice into wider youth strategies. Yesterday, whilst praising youth workers, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport Lisa Nandy highlighted the current lack of youth strategy asserting: “We are determined to set that right.
