It’s interesting to see the number of psychological competitions women are forced into in people’s minds. If they’re not comparing pregnancies, they’re comparing postpartum recovery. “My wife snapped back two minutes after childbirth.” Good for your wife. May your sense escape sub involution too.Let the church say amen. Then there is , ‘’My wife’s stomach was flat throughout the entire nine months and she delivered like Hebrew woman ‘’. Meanwhile, you’ve been pregnant with lager and stout for years. No expected date of delivery, but every opportunity to degrade women, your hand is always up. She is Hebrew woman , you are Hebrew man as well because you brew lager in your own stomach and deliver Trophy. I’m using “people” because I’ve also seen women who think they’re somehow better because they had a smooth pregnancy or a vaginal delivery. One thing I’m sure of is that Igwe will soon arrive with the award, ready to reward everyone according to their gogolarity. To the women whose partners use them as the standard to mock other women, I hail you. The Lord is your muscle. For those who are genuinely willing to learn, please understand that every woman is unique. No two pregnancies are exactly the same. A woman can have two smooth pregnancies and then experience serious complications with the third. Another woman may have ten uncomplicated pregnancies. If you have concerns about your pregnancy, childbirth, or postpartum recovery, please speak with your doctor or midwife. That’s exactly why they are there. Don’t let people use their experiences or someone else’s to make you feel less or pressured. Every pregnancy, childbirth ,postpartum journey is different. The process doesn’t define you.

Pray a lot! pray for everything, even if it seems silly or impossible & you can barely voice it. Pray for the little things, the big things & everything in between. Keep that connection between you & God open all day, every day. Pray & then watch how tiny miracles fill your life.
