Did Grass scam everyone? Let's break it down 👇 @grass was one of the first browser-node projects and became hugely popular after its first airdrop in 2024. Back then, rewards were surprisingly generous considering how little users had to do. Since then, the community has been farming what everyone expected to become the second $GRASS airdrop. Last night, however, the team launched the Stage 2 Rewards Checker, and instead of a $GRASS allocation, users were greeted with USDC rewards. Here's what we know: • Stage 2 Rewards Checker is now live. • Eligible users: Epochs 1-19 participants. • Participation period: Oct. 14, 2024 → Jun. 8, 2026. • Around $3M USDC will be distributed. • Claims open: July 22, 1:00 PM EST. • Claim deadline: Jan. 22, 2027. Naturally, this raises some questions: "I farmed for almost two years... and this is all I get?" "If rewards are paid in USDC, what's the purpose of $GRASS?" The whole situation feels unusual From what we know so far, the $3M USDC distribution doesn't appear to come from revenue generated by selling users' unused bandwidth. It seems more likely that these rewards are funded directly by the project itself-possibly from proceeds related to $GRASS token sales. (This is speculation, not confirmed by the team.) The CEO says the long-term goal isn't to reward users with tokens forever, but to build a sustainable business where contributors are paid from real customer demand and actual cash flow. If that's the case, it also suggests that two years of contributed resources are currently valued at only a relatively small amount There is another theory (not official): Many community members believe this isn't actually the Stage 2 token allocation. Instead, the current checker may only show USDC rewards for Human Conversation Data collected to help train AI models According to posts circulating on X: • Rewards are based on Diamonds earned during Epochs 1–19. • Current rate: 1 Diamond = 0.0049 USDC. • Points are not reflected in this checker. • The actual $GRASS Stage 2 allocation has not been announced yet. Again, this is community speculation, not official information A community call is expected soon, where we may finally learn why the team chose this unusual approach. Personally, my main farming account only received a few dozen dollars. Another account with lots of Points but relatively few Diamonds received just over $22. What about you? Humanity Protocol — THE SCAM OF ALL SCAMS Humanity Protocol crashed 90% in just 12 hours, wiping out over $1 billion in market cap only days after a 339% rally. Just a reminder: we covered this project more than a year ago and even farmed the airdrop. Well, joke’s on us - everyone got farmed instead. Even people ranked in the top 10–50 got nothing. EVERYONE got wiped. In short — The collapse happened after an attacker drained over $31 million from wallets linked to the Humanity app and then started swapping stolen $H tokens for ETH. — The project's founder confirmed that the incident was caused by a security breach involving compromised private keys belonging to a Humanity Foundation member. Here's how they say it happened: - Hackers gained access to an employee's laptop. - Through it, they stole several bridge management keys used between Ethereum and BSC. - They then took control of the bridge smart contracts and replaced them with malicious versions. - Around 141 million H tokens were withdrawn on Ethereum. - Another 200 million H tokens were minted on BSC and sent to the attackers. - In total, more than $36 million worth of tokens were stolen and dumped on the market. What really happened? Looks like a classic scam disguised as a "hack." The project raised roughly $50 million in funding and then effectively rugged all participants of the airdrop campaign. There were no clear criteria, forms weren't even reviewed, and the claim window was shut down almost immediately. You know the drill - standard behavior for these kinds of projects. I've said it many times before: real hacks in crypto are far less common than people think. More often than not, stories about "hackers" are just a convenient cover for projects that either drain funds themselves or stage an exploit. — Even ZachXBT pointed out that this case looks very much like another fake hack This post isn't just about calling out another trash project. It's a reminder: don't blindly hold altcoins and don't believe every story projects tell you. — There will be plenty more cases like this. After $H, we're already seeing issues around $SAHARA - and this is only the beginning. Prepare accordingly. Altcoins are likely to get hit hard

Nexus. Another scam 2026 is truly the year of scams, shutdowns, and disappointments in retrohunting. Almost every week another project we interacted with dies, and even the ones that finally reach TGE often end up scamming their community. — This time it was @NexusLabs : from 2024 to 2026 they kept users busy with provers, testnets, farming, quests, and endless activities - and what did people get in the end? Pennies that you often can’t even claim properly. — So what actually happened? • As usual - nothing good. Another project that was supposed to become a technological Layer 1 ended up being just another scam, giving users a worthless “reward” after 1.5 years of farming, running nodes, and wasting resources. • What did the project even do? • Delayed mainnet over and over again • Built random DEXes and protocols • Ran 3 testnet phases • Forced prover activities • Launched a points system • Added paid badge minting • Created social farming campaigns • Did countless collaborations • Even built some kind of “ecosystem” — But in the end it’s just some useless piece of garbage that barely works, and nobody even understands what it was made for. Most likely that $25M went into apartments in downtown New York instead. — What happened at TGE? • A few days before launch, people found their contract where token allocations were already visible. In Discord the team kept saying: “It’s fake, don’t trust it, no announcements yet.” Then suddenly, with zero communication, zero announcements, and no transparency, they quietly launched TGE behind everyone’s back - with a decent valuation and listings on major exchanges. — At first it looked like maybe they were doing a stealth “alpha launch” similar to what Hyperliquid and Lighter did before. But then regarding the airdrop they simply wrote: “No airdrop - For fun.” — So where did people get tokens from? Simple: they converted testnet points into mainnet tokens. The problem is - you can’t do anything with them. You can’t sell them, there’s no liquidity, no real utility, they’re just meaningless numbers sitting in the explorer. — And you can’t even bridge them because there’s no bridge. Right now it’s literally just a useless placeholder token you can only look at. — In reality people received absolute crumbs. Honestly, you could probably walk outside for 30 minutes and find more spare change on the street than what Nexus gave users through this “drop.” Another greedy company that kept the real supply for themselves while screwing over the community. • How to check your virtual “airdrop”? • Go to explorer.nexus.xyz • Paste your Nexus address • See your tiny amount of $NEX tokens — Final thoughts • At first the project looked solid: $25M raised from tier-1 funds in a single round, a decent-looking team, American CEO, ~50 employees, US office, launched during peak bull market hype - and in the end, classic crypto story: the money likely went into salaries, houses, apartments, and cars, while the community got left with nothing. — And as always Binance Alpha users got treated better than actual long-term farmers and node runners. Same old market story — Honestly, I’m just angry at this point. I no longer expect anything from most old projects that have already been farmed to death. Right now I’m simply flowing toward perps, prediction markets, AI, Base, some vibe coding, and generally whatever is actually relevant in the current market. 2026
