I made about £10 per minute for 30 minutes. Well, technically, I saved £10 per minute. All I did was shop around (for 30 mins) for car insurance before the auto-renewal kicked in and royally screwed me over. Remember: Nobody is going to look after your money like you do. And if you don't track it, it'll go walkabout into someone else's account. Track your money. Keep more of it.

My car insurance renewal quote came in HIGHER than it was. No accidents. No changes. Just a price increase. Scammers. I shopped around for about 20 mins and found a new one nearly HALF the price. Beware of insurance auto-renewals. Catch them, shop around and save yourself hundreds!

No to be fair to them they emailed me about the upcoming renewal (which I'm guessing they have to). It just felt scammy to me because nothing changed (except the car being kept in a SAFER place overnight now), and it still went up. But yeah, I start looking maybe 15 days before renewal
