The letter Laken Riley wrote, on the advice of her church small group leader, to her future husband: "To my future husband, I want you to know that I'm thinking about you. I'm working every day to become the best wife I can be. I'm working through my current relationships to best prepare me for our's and our kids' one day. I'm focusing on God and what He defines as a faithful Christian life, so that I can best embody those characteristics. I pray that you know it is with my full faith and trust in God that I know this relationship has been handcrafted by Him. I pray that we continue to glorify the Lord, prioritizing Him in every aspect of our lives, and raise our family, our future family, to be God-fearing Christians as well. I pray God is at the center of our relationship, as it is a gift from Him. I thank Him for you before I even know you and can't wait to love you in the best way I know how for the rest of our lives. I pray you know and feel the importance of my love and hopes for our relationship. No matter what challenges we face, I pray that our trust in God and love for one another overrules the obstacle. May our relationship last forever, Your future wife, Laken" She deserved to have this marriage, these children, this faithful Christian life. It was stolen from her. It was stolen from a man who should have had the opportunity to love her as his wife and from the children who should have had the opportunity to love her as their mom. Christians should stand up and say no more to the toxic empathy that allows lives like Laken's to be stolen.

Laken Riley's stepdad just read one of her last journal entries before the court, a letter to her future husband in which she prays for a "faithful Christian life" and to raise a family of "God fearing Christians."

@Joseph_Spurgeon What bothers me about this whole controversy as a young man is that it seems like the young men are demanding a passing of the torch to them when they have in no way proven they have the maturity and discipline to properly wield it. That is not the model of God’s kingdom.

The American College of Pediatricians just put out a 🔥🔥🔥 statement calling out all the major medical associations by name for pushing the gender transition craze on kids. They ask for these groups to "IMMEDIATELY stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex." The full @ACPeds statement ⬇️ "Therefore, given the recent research and the revelations of the harmful approach advocated by WPATH and its followers in the United States, we, the undersigned, call upon the medical professional organizations of the United States, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the  Endocrine Society, the Pediatric Endocrine Society, American Medical Association, the American Psychological Association, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to follow the science and their European professional colleagues and immediately stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex.  Instead, these organizations should recommend comprehensive evaluations and therapies aimed at identifying and addressing underlying psychological co-morbidities and neurodiversity that often predispose to and accompany gender dysphoria.
