An average US home uses 900 kWh/month 900kWh goes for $150 ($0.17/kWh). In Nigeria, 900 kWh on Band A is ₦202k ($0.15/kWh). We are paying roughly the same We are paying US tariffs with a ₦70k minimum wage, and still dealing with blackouts. Come home and taste it.

Only First Class and Second Class Upper graduates should qualify to become teachers. Teachers’ starting salaries should be a minimum of ₦500,000 per month. Teachers should be required to take professional qualification examinations every two years. There should be an Education Bank where teachers can access very low-interest loans for car financing, home financing and other essential needs. Teaching should be one of the most prestigious and highly respected professions in the country.

After 4 years why still use “I will I will” instead of “I have I have”

Fellow Lagosians, At ₦2k per meal, it will cost you ₦6k per day, and therefore ₦8,700,000 to eat three meals a day for 4yrs. These are not square meals o, just "manage". If you have foolishly decided to sell your vote for less than ₦8.7m, you're an even bigger ozuor than imagined. As I have said repeatedly, @GRVlagos and I have plans to use everything Lagos State has - our population, our waterways, even our refuse - to make Lagosians more prosperous and live a life of abundance. We will use our organic waste to generate biogas for electricity, and Lagosians will be employed in those facilities. We will use the waste product of our biogas production facilities as fertilizer to produce much more food and significantly reduce the cost of food. We will burn our inorganic waste to generate more electricity, and even more Lagosians will be employed to run those facilities. We will recycle the waste product from the incinerators as building materials. We will provide free, qualitative education for all children of Lagos Taxpayers', to university level. We will provide free, accessible and comprehensive Healthcare to children and the elderly, initially, whilst drastically reducing the overall cost of healthcare to everyone else. We will provide a minimum of 100,000 high quality, yet affordable homes in four years to Lagosians, with LOW INTEREST mortgages. We will reduce the Average Commute Time (the amount of time spent in traffic), by at least 50% within our first 18 months in traffic, whilst simultaneously reducing the cost of public transport. Make a conscious, strategic decision today, to invest in a future where you will no longer struggle to feed yourself, much less your family. Vote for a future where you can start achieving your dreams, hopes and aspirations, and begin to realistically dream bigger dreams. Vote for a future where you and your children are much safer and much more secure in ANY part of Lagos State, because we will provide much better welfare for all security agents working in Lagos State, starting from much better residential accomodation, to better working facilities and conditions, to much better welfare. Vote for @GRVlagos. Vote for ADC. If we all work together, we can Make Èkó Great Again. Warmest Regards, Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi ADC Lagos State Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate #VoteGRV2027 #VoteADCLagos #TakeYourFitnessSeriously #MakeEkoGreatAgain #MEGA2027

BREAKING: Inspired by France, young second and third-generation migrants started looting stores in Milan, Italy around 2 hours ago. International mainstream media isn’t showing just how bad things are in Europe.

Everything looted. Apart from pork products. Explains a lot.

@HeartMattaz @trigottista @inecnigeria "If we have one mind, one voice, one purpose, we will overcome these people" It may not be achievable. And an average Nigerian is greedy. Some that appear decent is because they don't have opportunity to loot. I'm talking from experience.

Why does the whole world seem not to care about these persecuted Christians?

To usłyszeli ode mnie liderzy Europy w Brukseli.

The most destructive species on planet earth is the African Muslim. Don’t believe me, just look at Paris.

I have noted with deep concern the conduct of the ADC campaign team. The attacks directed at me, our presidential candidate His Excellency Peter Obi, and our party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), are unnecessary and unhelpful. Rather than focusing on presenting the competence, credibility, and capacity of their own candidate as we have consistently done by placing our credentials and record of achievements before Nigerians, the ADC Presidential Campaign Council appears intent on creating mischief against our party and ticket. This includes attempts to portray us as working for the ruling party or to suggest that we may withdraw from the race in favour of the ADC candidate at the last minute. The ADC-PCC would be better served directing its energy toward rebutting the serious allegations levelled against their candidate by the Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, instead of targeting me and His Excellency Peter Obi. We are aware that the ADC-PCC may try to mislead our supporters on the eve of the election by claiming that we intend to withdraw in their favour. Let me state clearly and unequivocally: we will not withdraw our candidature for the ADC or any other party. We remain confident in our capacity, competence, and readiness to lead Nigeria. The OK ticket is neither working for nor acting on behalf of the APC or any of its candidates. We see no possibility or reason to withdraw from the presidential race in favour of the ADC candidate or any other. These claims are unfounded and should be treated as such. The APC-led government has failed Nigerians. The ADC offers no better alternative. We believe the OK ticket presents a credible and viable option, backed by proven capacity, a strong track record, credibility, and broad support across both Northern and Southern Nigeria. It is a healing ticket committed to uniting our country and tackling critical challenges in security, education, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, the economy, and other key sectors. We believe the NDC remains the most formidable and viable opposition party in the country. I therefore urge all our supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to continue working toward the victory of our great party. Nigeria will be OK. - RMK

I genuinely don't understand how tens of thousands of Christians are being massacred in Africa by Islamists and nobody seems to care.

BREAKING: A three-year-old child was one of eleven Christians butchered in Nigeria by Islamists this week. His father stated, “I saw more than 15 heavily armed men moving from house to house and chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ while macheting our people.” Where is the outrage?

When you're stuck in a pit; just stop digging. You don't seem to get it. You can't still read the room. I am NOT fighting for any politician; I am neither fighting for Peter Obi nor for NDC. I am fighting for my future and the future of my family. I am fighting for those who can't afford to fight. I am fighting so that another father would not have to experience what my Dad experienced and another family will not go through what my family had to endure. 2027 election is an existential fight for tens of millions of Nigerians and if you can't pick a side, get out of the way. That fence you're sat on may soon collapse. Selah!

Timi, thank you for explaining your view. Do you expect those men to fight physically? Or people over 60 to handle conflicts the same way you do? You’re saying all politicians are the same, but I strongly disagree. Alex Otti and Ikpeazu are rivals, yet Otti achieved in 4 years what Ikpeazu didn’t in 8. No, not all politicians are the same, and don’t expect them to fight physically.
