@trupill @zsmb13 We don't see many devs using the local imports way probably because it affects code readability especially outside IDEs, it's always better to have a small visual indication.

A good feature but I wish the leading dot would remain to distinguish it from normal global variables.

New Kotlin video! Context-sensitive resolution is one of those features that will kind of quietly blend into the background while making a lot of code much nicer. And you can already try it in Kotlin 2.2 as an experimental feature! Check out the details: youtube.com/watch?v=aF8RYQ…

@JorgeCastilloPr Hello

Check out this interesting library on GitHub github.com/burnoo/compose…

compose-remember-setting is a Compose Multiplatform library for persisting state with little boilerplate. It works like remember, but saves values to storage so they’re restored automatically on the next launch perfect for user preferences or small settings.

@KmpComm @zsmb13 The current model is more of “local imports” — your code works as if the statics of the context type were implicitly imported; and in Kotlin with an import you don’t use .

@KmpComm @zsmb13 Using . (and _. to a lesser extent) creates problems with parsing (how do you know if you have a chain of calls or an infix + context-sensitive, for example).

@zsmb13 Ooh its interesting to see it was considered, why was it dropped in the early implementation? I'll go through the KEEP to read more and provide my opinions

Context sensitive resolution is coming to Kotlin. What do you think? youtu.be/aF8RYQrJI8Q?si…

Jetpack Release with goodies for KMP developer.android.com/jetpack/androi…

Do you usually start your Kotlin Multiplatform projects from scratch, or do you use templates to get started?

@KmpComm Which libraries are you missing? What's your use case for hot reloading on multiple platforms? Are you developing apps that are significantly different between platforms?

@zsmb13 Mainly firebase I didn't mean hot reloading multiple platforms at once I meant to say hot reload availability on multiple platforms like flutter has while KMP has Desktop only
