I go to the counter and tell the officer why I want to file a complaint. He tells me he has many other reports and they are the only station open and that it will be 2 to 2.5 hours and if I leave I lose my spot. There is literally no one here. I asked if I could start filling it out, because I have done this before, he told me no. I don't think he even understands me.

Bravo, Denmark! Remarkable that a few months ago the US Administration was threatening to annex Danish territory, and accusing Denmark of being an unreliable ally. Just as Denmark suffered the highest per capita casualties in NATO’s mission in Afghanistan, it has contributed more per capita to the defence of Ukraine from Putin’s murderous invasion. Worth recalling that 99% of Danish Jews survived Nazi occupation; and that the King of Denmark wore a yellow star when the Nazis required Jews to so identify themselves.

As a Danish taxpayer, I think this is the best spent money ever. We will happily continue to pay to help a European country survive and to stop an existential threat against Europe. We are just wondering why so many other countries are free-riding and barely contributing?

My take on the Gaza situation: ▪️Israel got itself outmaneuvered diplomatically by Hamas, Egypt, Qatar and Turkiye, and the framing of the event does both truth and Israel a disservice. ▪️Hamas has no intention to disarm, and therefore misery, violence and war remain the foreseeable future of Gaza. This is just Arab posturing and strategic communications, not meaningful progress. ▪️Israeli statements are weighted by domestic politics instead of care for its national security. Israel is in fact in compliance with UNSCR 2803, and has reduced eliminations of Hamas terrorists in Gaza at US requests. ▪️Gazan civilians remain trapped under Hamas terror and their situation will not improve in any meaningful way. ▪️After October 7, no Israeli government will jeopardize Israeli security by trusting international guarantees. We've been there before and are saturated with disappointment.

Not without difficulty. The officer first said it's only for airplanes. I walked outside and found the criminal code sections and read them to her. She then said, well only if you can prove intention. I said, I have a video. I can prove intention. She then begrudgingly asked me two questions: when and where did it happened and handed me a card. I asked her why she did not get me to write a testimony. She said she put it in the system. I said that is not usually what happens. Then I walked out and came back in and said, you didn't even ask me for the video. Then she begrudgingly wrote her email so I could send it. Then I asked, do you want his name? And then gave it. So, I came home and filed a complaint about my reporting experience.

One pointed a laser in my face. The police officer driving beside me said he didn't see it. I told him it's on video. He didn't want to see it. He said to file a report at the police station.
