@NYCMayor You and AOC have blood on your hands. You demand that Florida, Texas, and Arizona provide accommodation for the influx of immigrants, but you cannot seem to be able to handle a mere fraction of what these states are expected and have handled for years. #GetThingsDone#AOCR2022
@NYCMayor Well, that may be true, but until the cities produce the food necessary to feed the citizens within your city limits, don’t think you can survive without the farmers. If you ate today, thank those in the rural areas for what you put in your mouth before you open it. #ThankFarmer
@NYCMayor@mondaydotcom Think of the Governor DeSantis and Governor Abbott making the dreams come true for all the immigrants from the Southern border that fall into the second category. #MakingTheDreamComeTrue
@NYCMayor Think of all the opportunities you as Mayor of NYC are given to provide accommodations for the sudden influx of immigrants from the Southern border. Let’s see how you can #GetStuffDone.
Is that a threat against the SCOTUS? Seems to me someone lit a match to encourage violence at the SCOTUS Justices. Perhaps the FBI should investigate Steve Cohen for attempting to overthrow one of the three branches of government.

@GmkShyam@RepJeffries Biden isn’t the worst, research Jimmy Carter, a peanut farmer from GA who literally lost his own farm due to nonpayment of debt. Of course, gas prices didn’t matter because there was none to be had, OPEC oil embargo and a historic high with the Prime Interest Rate being 21.5%.
@SchwarzGretchen@RepJeffries And you logic fails to take into account Economics which does not change based on who is in the WH. The Law of Supply and Demand operates the same as it did in 1776 when Adam Smith, the Father of Economics, wrote it.
@lyndonallydice@RepJeffries We can’t. It is called Economics. Not only was 1776 the birth year of this Nation, Smith wrote “Wealth of Nations”. Now isn’t it ironic? Don’t you think?
@Jamesabides1@RepJeffries@TheBlackCaucus This Biden/Harris admin should research the policies of the Carter/Mondale admin and do the opposite. Even Carter had his farm auctioned so that creditors could get a portion of the debt the POTUS was unable to pay. Remember “No Gas” signs and 21.5% Prime Interest Rate (record)
@CKimWBergstrom @TalkAboutWar@RepJeffries Economics and the Law of Supply and Demand. The USA was oil independent just a few years ago. If the USA buys oil from another nation, that increases price as the demand has increased.
@RepJeffries You proclaimed that the “shareholder class” should not reap profits from the oil industry. Who do you think this “class” is? I am middle class. I have sacrificed and saved. During Obama admin, I sunk every dime I could lay hands on and invested in the oil industry.
@GeorgeTakei Justice is not in the eyes of social media, but in the eyes of the judge and jury. Even the prosecutor knew the case was lost when Gaige admitted he was not shot until he pointed his weapon at Kyle. That by definition is self-defense.
@HalHardcore Rev E D Nixon, President of the NAACP, can be thanked for that fact being excluded from your history books. In the early 1950’s prior to MLK coming to MGM, Nixon began the fight to desegregate the city’s buses. Claudette Colvin was not chosen as she was an 15 yo unwed mother.
@QPeaceDenimCo@CNN Yes, Claudette Colvin was first but Rev E D Nixon did not want her to represent the boycott. She was an unwed pregnant teen versus Rosa Parks who worked with him as a secretary at the NAACP. So it was black civil rights leaders who made the call to exclude Claudette as the face
@jenn If you do a little research, you will find that Rev E D Nixon, President of the MGM NAACP, did not want an unwed pregnant with a married man’s baby to be the “face of the boycott”. Rosa Parks worked for him part time at the NAACP and was respectable at time
@MahoneyEb God bless you and your family during this difficult time. Although he is physically no longer with you, he is still watching over you. Look for the signs; his favorite song, his favorite automobile, etc. letting you know he still loves you. May God grant you peace.
@RepCohen The “We” you refer to is the Republican led House and Senate. Not a single Democrat voted for the 15th Amendment. It only took the Congress to give women the right to vote after Democrats obstructed the Republicans. Stop fanning the flames of divisiveness with half truths.
With all of the negative comments @RepCohen makes regarding Republicans, he certainly danced around this tweet. The “We” to whom he refers are the Republicans in Congress who passed the 15th Amendment to the Constitution. Not a single Democrat voted for this legislation.
The right to vote shall not be denied or abridged on account of race or color.
We ratified that as part of our Constitution in 1870. How is it that we’re still fighting to realize this promise? #RestoreVRA#JohnLewisVotingRightsAct#15thAmendment
