The story of the boy who stuck his finger in the crack of the Liberty Bell. When I was only five years old, some 67 years ago, things were different. Historical artifacts were accessible. On a trip to Philadelphia, where the car vapor locked, we had a chance to go to Independence Hall, and in those days, the Liberty Bell was up close and personal. My brother dared me to place my finger in the crack of the bell. But iI knew, I KNEW that crack would close up the second I put my finger in it. But I did anyway. The crack did not close up. And my finger grew into the manly digit it is today. And that is the story of the boy who stuck his finger in the crack of the Liberty Bell.

Iran is no longer one contiguous country. It is now 35 separate, individual provinces, each with its own army, the IRGC provincial Republican Guard. The local militia. Trained and ready. These brigades recognize no central civil or military authority. They are truly independent
