Gary Stevenson's diagnosis is correct. As with every Marxist, his suggested cure is foolish. The government should be strong, capable, and wealthy, not massively indebted. The poor should be able to afford houses on a postman's income. Gary is right about this. But taxing billionaires won't change this. On the other hand, remigration, and pro-business, pro-work, and pro-family policies would. Remigrating the Pakistani and Somali communities alone would both enrich the government by saving insane amounts of benefits money. Getting rid of immigrant low wage labour would allow youngsters to build their careers far earlier, so that over time they can accumulate wealth. Cutting benefits would force the idle back into work. Reducing taxes on small and medium businesses, and liberalising the labour market, would create a lot more jobs and therefore raise wages. And cutting taxes on the lowest earners would let them spend more of their wages, boosting the economy, and improving their living standards. Taken together, these policies would reduce government debt and cause a huge drop in housing prices. Not to mention the massive drop in crime and increase in public safety. These policies would also give the youth opportunities, meaning, and purpose. The young and the poor aren't angry that the rich are rich. They're angry that they cannot have the three basic things that make life worthwhile: a home, a family, and a safe country.

Chat Control has failed. This is a colossal loss for all Europeans, and further proof the EU needs reform. The blame for this catastrophe lies with the national governments that wish hijack the EU to impose draconian measures on their citizens, the US companies lobbying against European interests, and above all the European parties pushing for this policy when Europeans don’t want it. The system is rotten. But there’s a better way. Parties like @AveEuropae and @AstraEuropaEU were against this nonsense from the start.
