@RadioRodThorson The Chain O' lakes in Northern IL (located 5 miles from the WI border) is a great place to visit and live. One hour from Mitchell airport in Milwaukee and O'Hare airport in Chicago.

Im retired and live in IL on a fixed income. Groceries here are expensive so I choose my items carefully. And yet it continues to amaze me how some of the Chicago areas biggest grocery stores allow EBT recipients to purchase bakery cakes, cookies + more, and also prepared deli party trays +more then have it delivered via Door Dash...all on their EBT cards! I've worked 50 years and can't afford that. This needs to stop as we the taxpayers continue to be ripped off big time!!
