I have been putting more effort into socializing, while #SocialDistancing of course. (Thank you technology!) It can be easy to hide behind your desk in the #Writing world, but getting to know others can help in character development. Conversations can also #Inspire new #Ideas.

What I hate & love most about any real #Writing is when you have to put into a #Character a shared pain that strikes a raw, deep nerve. I submitted such a piece that received a positive response a few years back, but felt too exposed to follow through with it. Anyone else?

There is debate about whether one should work on multiple projects at a time. I think it helps to change it up, take a break and work on another piece before coming back to it. It gives the mind a break, and you can come back to a piece with a fresh mind. #writingcommmunity
