ICE continues to lie. In a free society, Americans have the right to criticize public officials, comment on law enforcement actions, and call for accountability through the legal system. Relying on news reports to name an agent already identified in the press and advocating for an indictment is protected political speech. This is not doxxing, not a true threat or incitement. It is the kind of open discourse the First Amendment exists to protect. Sending armed federal agents to a citizen’s workplace to deliver warnings and pressure her to self-censor has a chilling effect on speech. It tells every American that questioning federal agencies can bring agents to your door. That is not how limited government operates. Free speech is not a privilege granted by the government. It is a right that exists precisely so citizens can hold power to account. We will continue to defend that right without compromise.

Nobody is trying to "end religion." Churches are open across America, and the First Amendment protects everyone's right to worship, or not. The real threat to religious freedom is politicians exploiting faith for political power while pretending they're the victims.

Texas just voted to make Bible reading mandatory for more than 5 million public school students. The problem was never which book. It’s that a state board in Austin now decides what every child in Texas must read. Today the majority on that board is conservative and Christian, so it’s the Bible. Majorities change. The power you hand the government to assign scripture to your kid is the same power the next majority uses to assign something you can’t stand. Real religious freedom means the state stays out of it. Parents and teachers make these calls, not 15 elected officials voting 9 to 5. This is what government-run schooling always becomes: a fight over whose values get forced on everyone else’s children.
