Always a great idea to coordinate with existing local systems. This includes when volunteers are required, so that there isn't duplication or volunteers don't sign up for something that never appears 😉
Would have been a good idea to ask local govt & local NHS systems if they could redeploy staff unable do their usual jobs rather than ask volunteers to do it. Local systems are already redeploying their staff to help in care homes etc @tomriordan independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
