In Jan-Mar, I was able to play GC/MGC for the first 30m in the NY session to hit my daily goal. Price action changed enough where I had to open my trading window. Typically I'm done before 11am EST but if not, at least by noon. Whilst ATR is important (moreso to have entry candles that meet with your sizing), I primarily focus on visual structure of what Smart Meter is painting. I do prefer my ATR at around 100 or below on NQ/MNQ and while the 1m chart works just fine some of the time, when the ATR is 200+, I'm always going to look for a stable lower timeframe.

With MNQ trading above 200 ATR (I measure in ticks), your entry candles will typically be larger meaning lower contract sizing (if using Guardian). But here's what you could have pulled off this morning on the 30s chart where the candles are smaller, and yes there were losses, but the wins easily recovered those. Could you have played the 1m? Yes. Would it have paid? Yes. You'd still have made over 100pts

Last post until the globex-asia session. Off the computer/charts until then. Just a nice pic of Trend Engine showing ES on the 2m chart with a ridiculous possible entry all the way down to where it signaled long and you exited. I have the aggro mode on showing all the opportunities wherein one could add into the position, or if already out, re-enter for continued shorts. No way I'd personally play all those add-in signals (unless I was trading MES and not ES). But pretty nevertheless.

Does it work on gold? To the person who DM'd me asking if Smart Meter works on Gold. Yes. Yes it does....when gold isn't being an ass. For much of the year, up until 2'ish weeks ago when gold's price action tightened up at the open, I traded gold nearly exclusively. Over these 2 weeks, I've been playing both but moreso MNQ at the moment. My posts reflect that. Here's how Smart Meter displayed MGC this morning.

1,073 points tonight... That's what Trend Engine presented tonight. ...IF you allowed trades to run and IF you didn't take profit early or IF you didn't get stopped out. Yes there are losses, but who cares when you can get get profitable trades like the ones in the image. At JUST 2 micros per position and add-in, that's $4,295 with the biggest risk at just 46.75pts (-$187). What about if you played this with 10 cons? $21,460 with the biggest loss at -$925. We don't always get PA like this, but when we do, Trend Engine is gonna help traders maximize profits.

100pts in 30 minutes - yes please. Yeah I know I let the first trade pull back too deep. Was using the prior pivot as my line in the sand. And that loss could have been ignored if I had played aggressive and consider gray candles continuing the trend unless it breaks the trend band.

@SeanTrades_ Nope. I took prior data I had and then looked at as much historical data Tradingview would give me. What's interesting is that if someone used this on a $300 risk per trade $50k EOD account and the win rate holds, it's a 97.2% pass rate

Caught that cat alert! My cat alerted at 3:50 AM, got up, went to my computer, fired up tradovate and took the short with 1 con. It ran just under 40 points before it pulled back to my overly-tight stop and took me out.
