This Boxing Day, we want to take a moment to thank those who have been working and continue to work to keep our communities safe this festive period.
Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you all and all our supporters. Thank You!
This fantastic contribution helps to ensure that we can continue to support the community throughout the year.
We rely on public donations to function so your continued support is greatly appreciated by us all. Want to know more? Visit our website largsfirstresponders.com/about.html
Thank you to all staff and customers of @Morrisons Largs who donated £1078.35 during our fund raising this weekend. We thouroughly enjoyed chatting to everyone who popped by and appreciate your continued support. (1/2)
Allow us to continue providing Basic Life Support Awareness Sessions supporting our friends at Save A Life For Scotland and own and maintain 23 public access defibrillators within the North Coast area.
Come and say hello and support of life saving work.
The team are delighted to be collecting in Morrisons Largs this Saturday (21st December) in aid of our charity.
Public donations are essential to our work and keep us on the road responding to life threatening medical emergencies for Scottish Ambulance Service.
We were honoured to join the remembrance service on Sunday at Largs War Memorial laying a wreath on behalf of Scottish Ambulance Service remembering the fallen.
Coordinator Thom layed the wreath on our behalf and is pictured with colleagues from partner agencies #LestWeForget
Thanks to the pupils and staff at @SkelmorlieSch for allowing Thom, Maria and Jessica to spend Restart a Heart Day with them.
It is reassuring for the residents of Skelmorlie to know that their children understand how to help in a medical emergency and they are now CPR ready.
On Saturday three of our team were delighted to attend Kilbrinie Ambulance Day.
We provided CPR and AED awareness sessions with lots of willing participants of all ages.
Thanks to Joel Gray Paramedic Team Leader at Kilbrinie for inviting us along it was an excellent day.
Today is #InternationalParamedicsDay, and we'd like to recognise the phenomenal work Paramedics and Technicians do every day for the public.
Many of our CFRs over the years have gone on to become Paramedics and Technicians with SAS - We send the family in Green our thanks today.

Come and say hello and support of life saving work tomorrow.
Think carefully before going to A&E this winter. If your condition isn’t life-threatening, you should call NHS 24 on 111, day or night, to access the right care. If it’s an emergency, you should still call 999 or go straight to A&E.

We would like to congratulate our two new first reponders Harrison and Sophie who completed they’re training course this month in Edinburgh.
They are both now full trained and ready to support our community.
Well done to you both 👏🏻❤️
We would like to say a huge Thank You to @coopuk for a recent donation of £1045. This is a fantastic amount and will support our work in the community every day.
Our thanks go to all the team at Co-op and everyone who chose to support us while shopping this year.
Thank you ❤️
