Apparently many Deaf people weren’t aware about Workbridge’s criteria for Job Support, which doesn’t support English-NZSL translation service. We, incl. myself have been using for the past 25 years.. Now, they are going to educate us that it’s not part of the criteria!! Oops!

Need to exposure full time NZSL at very early start in all areas - school, at home, public places, broadcasting, social media!

Had a great day at AUT (Auckland Uni of Technology) with other Deaf/Deaf blind students, interpreters, lecturers and Manager of Disability Resource office.. we shared our experiences as well frustrations as from Deaf perspective. Let’s hope to see some progress next year.. 😁

It came to my attention that Deaf Americans could not access to any briefing or announcement in relation to Covid-19 for few months now as no interpreters were booked. That’s not good enough.. :(
