@randw @MoonCoinRising @cryptorebel_SV When throughput increases, pretty much all of the old ecosystem will stop functioning properly. Users and apps needs to use SPV. It changes a lot, but also, a lot of the plumbing has been built by the fine teams at Babbage, BSVA, and by others.

Today I proved 9 million TPS across a single 1BSV ingress proxy. That is 96% interface saturation of 25 Gbit at 256 Byte payload size. It only gets better from here. Bitcoin Multicast Scales!

@ProjectBabbage It will never run out of scaling path. The network actually scales further, faster than the transaction processing node, but they both "never really hit a scale ceiling".

I think I have my answer. 16.7 million transactions per second (one server), less than 1ms (336µs) additional latency. Same 25 Gbit link, 1500 MTU. BRC forthcoming.
Investigating a new BRC. A coalescing, or bundle type of multicast frame. The idea: pack small transactions into a bigger packet, as many as will fit on the wire. Maybe we take that 9 million TPS figure and we kick it up a few more. Working out the particulars now.

@MasatoshiN76972 @kurtwuckertjr @oudekaas3 At scale, users will need to move to SPV. ElectrumSV is not SPV-ready. Plan to move to something like a BRC-100 compatible wallet. It won't happen right away but it will be important to get off of full-chain indexed solutions. SPV is the way.

@SaturnJS This is exactly aligned with what I've been saying about deprecating SVNode by end of year. I posted last year that I thought 2026 would be SVNode's golden year as it was sunset. Teranode has been in the hardening stage since 2025.

It's meant to be widely distributed anywhere a connection to the multicast network can be made. Many of them deployed to datacenters worldwide. Miners connect on the multicast fabric elsewhere.
