Reform UK initially claimed Farage barely knew Gill. That turned out to be a blatant lie. And a reminder that before the BBC picked up the baton, Farage was propelled to prominence by Russian TV. The Kremlin clearly thought Farage would be useful to Russia. He has doubtless more than exceeded their hopes.
